As adopted sons and daughters of God, we are not to be held captive "under" the circumstances we encounter in the world. We are to rise above. Christ is the Head of the Church, and God has placed ALL things under His feet. Likewise, as the Church is Christ's Body, ALL things are under our feet as well.
