In this message, Pastor Dale continues to minister on the love of God, focusing on how His love has been poured into the hearts of born-again believers by the Holy Spirit. The supernatural love of God residing within enables believers to fulfill the command of Jesus to love others like He loves us. This means we can choose to love regardless of feelings, circumstances, or how we have been treated. Walking in the love of God does not mean becoming passive toward or enabling harmful behavior, but it does allow us to forgive, show kindness, and refuse retaliation, while walking in wisdom and establishing boundaries. We do not love because everyone deserves it. We love because Jesus first loved us, and His love within us gives us the capacity to respond like Him.
